A piece of writing has to start somewhere, go somewhere, and sit down when it gets there - John McPhee (I think this is equally applicable to research)

Hands in pockets at Manhattan, NYC. It was colder than I thought it would be.
Hi, I’m a machine learning engineer at a New York-based startup Dime. I work majorly on - a) setting up robust ETL/ELT pipelines, b) performing rigorous statistical data analysis & model training and c) building LLM and RAG-powered agentic systems focused on domain-specific (i.e. accounting, SME) enterprise use cases. I also contribute to the app's MERN stack. Other than that, I conduct research on large-scale synthetic data generation techniques for VLMs (Vision Language Models) and VLM-powered low-resource language document comprehension under the supervisions of Dr. Md Mofijul Islam, Dr. AKM Mahbubur Rahman, and Dr. Aman Chadha.
